Welcome to the Newton South PTSO. Suggested contributions for 2011-2012 are $52.00 per family. Your contribution is tax deductible! This is our only request for money from the Newton South PTSO. We don’t do any other general PTSO fundraising. Each year we distribute 100% of the PTSO contributions to Student and Teacher-related activities, Over $20,000 in grants dispersed to teachers, students and clubs; Two large projection systems for the student center and field house; Over 60 Student Clubs and Organizations; Events planned for the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes; Principal Discretionary Fund; Staff Appreciation Events; Parent Communications; Grade level "what to expect" coffees; Maintaining a website and email server. Contributions to "Music at South" and "South Stage" are always welcome. You can include these contributions in a single online donation and we will distribute your donation to the appropriate group. Our goal this year is 100% participation from our families. Directories are automatically provided to every family that makes a contribution. The suggested donation is $52.00 (or more if you can since there are always things needed at South). If the suggested donation is a financial hardship, please make whatever contribution is comfortable or speak to Assistant Principal Mary Scott. Any such conversation will be kept in strict confidence. No one will be denied a directory due to financial constraints.       To donate with a check, please download the form, and mail the filled form with your check to the school.
